Havelock Neighborhood – North East Lincoln

Kelly's Kids North East is located at 4005 North 70th St., along the east edge of the Havelock Neighborhood. To reach our facility, you must turn from 70th street onto Kearney Avenue, as our parking lot is on the opposite side of the building. The front door is keypad access only for security, and we have cameras both on our parking lot as well as in the classrooms. 

 

This facility was originally a church building built in 1962.  It was purchased in 2018, and after extensive renovations, was opened in May of 2019 as “Kelly’s Kids North East”.  Modifications to bring the building in line with 2019 building codes for a childcare center have resulted in a newer facility on the inside situated in a quiet neighborhood with two large fenced in outside play areas, with play structures and a shade structure on one side. Each classroom (with the exception of the infant rooms) has a restroom in the room for easy accessibility for children. Infant and toddler rooms also have age-appropriate changing tables as well.

 

The building is 5,400 square feet and is licensed to provide care for children 6 weeks to 12 years, with drop off and pick up currently including Norwood Park elementary school.  A summer program for school age children is offered including daily field trips to the nearby Ballard Pool, parks, library, museums, etc. 

 

At times, some of the rooms are full, but we keep a waiting list and will do what we can to accommodate new children.   Families move and children move up, or graduate to move on to kindergarten, so we are nearly always enrolling new children.
